We have some awesome trails for genuine mountain biking adventures.

In the mountains at Elgin and Grabouw, just an hour’s drive from Cape Town lies an entire network of singletracks and jeep tracks, an incredible experience either in the wet or the dry.  The Cape Pine “Genesis” trails at Elgin for example comprise 3 clearly marked routes – a 10km for beginners, a 30km for intermediate riders, and a challenging 40km route for advanced mountain bikers.

The trail head is at the permit office (see map below).

Permits:
Daily permits:      R20 per person
Annual permits:      R200 per person, R300 per family of 4
